The International Federation for Theatre research (IFTR) African and Caribbean Theatre and Performance Working Group was established to create a dedicated space for academics and practitioners interested in these rich and dynamic theatrical traditions. Our journey began with a shared passion for exploring the complexities, histories, and contemporary expressions of African and Caribbean performance, recognizing their profound impact on global culture and discourse.
